FOUNDER/CEO, HIPPY FEET
When did you first get your start?
Hippy Feet first launched in September of 2016. The initial idea for Hippy Feet is something that I came up with while in recovery from a traumatic brain injury that I had suffered in October 2015. This injury left me unable to work or attend school for the entire fall semester of my senior year of college at UW-River Falls. Following my return to school that spring, I presented my business plan in a series of pitch competitions and was awarded $25,000 in seed funding after winning the Wisconsin state competition.
What drives you on the daily?
I'm driven by the constant pursuit of improvement. The more we grow, the more we are able to give back to the homeless community. Knowing that my efforts are benefiting others is what I am energized and motivated.
